Retail Stores
Environmental Design

In a series of live retail prototypes, we sought to elevate the HP brand to a level of experience not usually associated with PCs. The various store-in-store concepts were executed in diverse locations around the globe, such as London (UK), Joannesberg, (South Africa), and Omaha, Nebraska (US).

The stores provide users with hands-on demos of products and peripherals that highlight HP’s breadth of offerings, and clearly position HP as a leader in mobile computing, printing, and connected home solutions. Graphic components were designed by Jeff Zwerner of Factor Design.

Designing HP’s stores required an in-depth understanding of the HP brand, product lines, and business goals. We worked closely with HP’s senior leadership to define the project objectives. HP looked to us for a cohesive design language and brand story that would provide an emotional connection to their customers at retail.
